Exciting News: Our Renovations Are Complete!

We’re thrilled to share that our renovations are complete! It's taken a little longer than we had hoped (isn't that always the way), but we’re happy to say that the results are more beautiful than we ever imagined. We've worked hard to preserve the aspects of our space that made it so special; the wonderful murals, the beautiful plaster work, while gently rejuvenating it - like carefully polishing a treasured antique, revealing the beauty that was always there, hiding in plain sight.

Introducing Our New Café Operator

We are also delighted to announce that our new café operator, Carol. She is a member of the family and she brings with her both years of experience in hospitality, where she worked for leading hotels across the world, alongside an incredible concept that we’re truly excited to reveal. Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect:

• World-Class Artisanal Coffee: The coffee is amazing. We're talking about truly artisanal brews that are sure to make every visit a treat. We will pair excellent quality single-origin beans from a specialist roaster, with exceptional barista training to make sure we become your favourite local coffee shop.
• Delicious Food: We will soon reveal the new menu that will feature wholesome, moreish dishes that combine quintessentially Algarvian flavours and ingredients, reimagined in exciting and creative ways. Perfect for light lunches, each dish is designed to be both delicious and satisfying. There will be something for all tastes, with vegan-friendly options, gluten-free choices, and meals to accommodate various dietary concerns. We’ll offer traditional, recognisable favourites alongside more inventive and exciting creations. In addition, we’ll have daily specials like our Soup of the Day and rotations of fresh, vibrant salads. For families, we’ve created a fun, tasty option that kids will love. Outside of lunchtime, indulge in our delicious cakes, pastries, and healthy light bites—ideal for early-birds. For a relaxing afternoon, we’ll also serve a selection of great wines, and refreshing sangria, perfect for sipping on our garden terrace.
• A New Team: Our new team members are quick and confident but better yet they are kind, friendly, and gelling excellently together. We know you’ll love their warmth and hospitality.
